“Sister Wendy Beckett has transformed public appreciation of art through her astonishing knowledge, insight and passion for painting and painters.” This set includes Sister Wendy's Story of Painting, Sister Wendy's Odyssey, and Sister Wendy's Grand Tour. Simultaneously delightful and scholarly--this is a must have for anyone interested in art history.

  • Exit Through the Gift Shop
    Exit Through the Gift Shop
When British stencil artist Banksy traveled to Los Angeles to work, he came across obscure French filmmaker Thierry Guetta and his badly organized collection of videotapes involving the activities of graffiti artists. Inspired, Banksy assembled them with new footage to create this talked-about documentary, and the result is a mind-boggling and odd film (so strange as to be thought a hoax by some) about outsider artists and the definition of art itself.
  • The Impressionists

The School of Creative Arts!

Those of you who’ve visited What About Art? already know that our mission is to make art available to Everyone! We are passionate about Lifelong Learning in all areas, and especially in the arts.

“The School of Creative Arts” is a new initiative by Warnborough College, set up to provide learners from around the world to access great courses in the creative arts. Current offerings include cultural art history, fine arts, and creative writing! You don’t have to go anywhere to learn--just download your materials and work with them at your leisure. Presentations, demonstrations, printed materials, online forums, and one-on-one learning are all possible. Please check it out here....

This is a great opportunity for people who can’t physically attend “live” classes--either due to physical limitations or unworkable schedules--OR for those of you who just prefer to learn from the comfort of your own home.

Having art in your life is stimulating and exciting--whether you’re making it (or writing it) yourself or learning about its history. So, please spread the word about this terriific new initiative! The instructors are all wonderful--and we promise you won’t be disappointed!
